Kufstein Tourist Board
Kufstein, the town on the green Inn river, truly has something for every taste: Mountains, lakes, forests, the “Wilder Kaiser” nature reserve and a hiking area with ski lifts.
Summer or winter, spring or fall, with family or friends – Kufstein offers enjoyment and discovery for everyone.
The famous Kufstein castle – fought over many times by Bavaria and Tirol – now serves as a museum of local heritage and a splendid venue for events. The “Panoramabahn Kaiser Maximilian” glass funicular elevator takes you into the heart of the castle and affords wonderful views of Kufstein.

The sounds of Heldenorgel, the world’s largest outdoor organ, can be heard every day at noon (also at 5:00 pm in July and August). Madersperger Museum, a sewing machine museum, has been reopened. It presents a multimedia show in honor of the inventor of the sewing machine. Enjoy the magnificent views of Kufstein and its surroundings from our touring boat. Don’t miss out on the SINNfonie glass works, where you can watch the glass crafters blow molten glass into beautiful pieces.
