„Die wilden Siebziger“ is a documentary about the atmosphere of departure in alpinism in the decade from 1970 to 1980. A small mountaineering elite learned together, arranged expeditions, explored the medical basics of climbing up to the critical altitude and launched the alpine sponsoring. This collection of skills provided a basis for professional mountain climbing apart the classical profession of a mountain guide.
