Hitherto no one has climbed the Wilder Kaiser. Local mountaineers Franz and Toni were forced to abort their attempt. One day Margit and Wolf, both climbers, arrive in order to make the ascent. It looks as though the Tirolean tourist resort is about to be humiliated.
