The story is set in the Muslim locale of Charminar in Hyderabad. Amjad Khan (Prakash Raj) is Muslim `bhai' who is an autorickshaw driver. He wants India to be a secular and peaceful country. Zubeida (Puja) is his love interest.
Into this set-up walks an aspiring actor Koteswara Rao (Ravi Teja), wannabe actress Lakshmi (Sangeetha), Captain Ravi and his Muslim wife. And there is an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Radhakrishnan (Srikanth) who had lost his wife in a bomb blast by some militants.
The action starts only in the second half as the ACP arrests terrorist Moulana Masood Azhar, who has come to the city to blast the place. Soon another set of terrorists enter to rescue him from the police and the man who lead this group is Amjad Khan's long lost brother!
