Baba Sikandar (Mithun Chakraborty) is India's most wanted criminal. He is living somewhere in Europe, but his terror network has the whole of India in fear. His latest victim: Kantilal Shah, the rich industrialist. The latter's adoptive son Karan (Rahul Khanna) persuades Daddy neither to pay the 200 million nor to give in to the terrorists. Kantilal is promptly killed. Anjali, his daughter, holds Karan responsible for this. He wants nothing but revenge and must therefore get Sikandar to India so that he can be convicted. In order to do so he enlists the help of ex-inspector Arjun (Arjun Rampal). Together, they get the gangster Abhimanyu (John Abraham) out of prison. He has an account to settle with Sikandar. Together, the three men fly to Venice where they are joined by Priya, a reporter (Amisha Patel) willing to help them. Abhimanyu has a plan to get hold of Sikandar through Sonia, his girlfriend (Lara Dutta). But can she be trusted?
