In order to replenish their student funds Toni, Stefan, Niels, Maike and Frank set off for the Tirolean Alps. They are to renovate a hut in the mountains. On arrival, their joy turns to horror: in the kitchen are three, armed bodies, covered in blood. Maike and Stefan find a gold chain on one of the men. A television report puts them on the right track: the three men have apparently robbed the Tiroler Landesmuseum. Stefan at once sees a unique opportunity – he wants to sell the loot which, after all, is worth five million euros. But Toni, Niels and Frank want nothing to do with Stefan's criminal ideas. Only Maike is on his side. She helps him to bury the bodies secretly in the night. When Toni hears of this, she is beside herself. But before she can act the police are at the door. In a panic, she makes up a story to explain the fresh grave. Now there is no going back for the five friends. Soon afterwards Hagedorn appears, passing himself off as an insurance agent. It quickly becomes clear that he is behind the robbery. A merciless struggle for the loot ensues between the cold-blooded crook and the five friends.
