Kitzbühel, its surroundings and other towns and villages in the Tirol are the scene of unusual and original crime cases which are solved by a young and ambitious pair of detectives. They are aided by Karin's father, Hannes, who runs a three-toque restaurant in the town, a master chef with pronounced talents as a detective, and Countess Schönberg, a long-time resident of Kitzbühel and close confidante of Hannes whose recipes she particularly values.
